Serves as junior archeologist providing archeological technical support for the District's 18 lake projects and planning studies within the Missouri River basin. Conducts and oversees field surveys, excavations, and eligibility determinations at the lake projects and for other civil works projects. Conducts Data analysis for archeological field projects. Writes and edits archaeological field and technical reports. Completes cultural resource sections for environmental documents. Serves on technical teams and committees providing support for the District?s civil works projects. Ensures archaeological reports and contractor deliverables are legally and professionally adequate and submitted on time. Ensures that contractor technical reports incorporate effective procedures to consider other mission effects on significant archaeological historic properties. Ensures that field and analytical efforts are of professional quality.
