I was recently admitted to a masters program at Ohio University for Environmental Studies, where I plan on concentrating in Environmental Archaeology. The concentration itself is interdisciplinary, with classes ranging from politics to plant biology, and of course anthropology.
I was curious if anybody out there has taken this route, and where it has led them. Right now I have two years experience in CRM and I am ready again for academia. My research interests are a little convoluted right now.. I've done research in the environmental impacts of excavation in fragile areas and I have interest Section 106 (perhaps even interest in research suggesting reform...).. but have yet to come up with what I want to focus on in graduate school. Any comments, or ideas?
Thanks,
K
